Building a New Center for Digital Scholarship

The Library is investing in a Center for Digital Scholarship (CDS) that will be a nexus for intellectual energy and growth, providing services that facilitate the exploration of new methodologies, the analysis of complex data, the visualization of theoretical and spatial relationships, and the sharing and preservation of research results. While the CDS will bring new staff resources and focused energy to supporting digital scholarship, it will build on services that the Library already provides. Below are some of the services currently in place to facilitate your research.

Institutional Repository

Knowledge@UChicago is a service designed to preserve and share the scholarly and creative assets of the University. The repository is available to the community as a platform to share and preserve publications, data, audio/video, and other research outputs. Please visit our FAQ, or contact us, if you are interested in depositing material, building a collection, or have repository needs for grant compliance. The institutional repository is a collaboration between the Library and IT Services at the University of Chicago.

The scholarly publishing world is going through a rapid transformation. Digital Humanities

The Library has a long history of supporting digital humanities initiatives, from ARTFL to OCHRE, and more. We currently partner with the DH Forum to host regular events in the Library.
