To coincide with his concert May 17 with the Orchestre National de France, Riccardo Muti will receive a daylong salute on the European radio channel France Musique.

Muti, Zell Music Director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, will lead the Paris-based orchestra in Schumann’s Symphony No. 4 and Brahms’ Violin Concerto, with Ye-Eun Choi as soloist (replacing the previously announced Julia Fischer, who withdrew). The ONF concert will be broadcast live on France Musique, a national public radio channel with a focus on classical music and jazz. The daylong radio tribute will feature several of Muti’s CSO recordings, including the 2017 CSO Resound release of Bruckner’s Symphony No. 9, as well as pre-recorded interviews with the maestro. (The channel streams its programming over the internet; to access the online broadcast, follow the links on the ONF home page.)
