Conductor Nicholas Kraemer, who will lead the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in a program of all six Brandenburg Concertos, discusses his approach to Bach’s masterworks: “Bring out all the voices. You have to hear all the lines, there’s so much variety. There’s so much beauty in it, you have to be careful you don’t overdue that, in terms of the listener.”
