The Guardian wonders what took pianist Leif Ove Andsnes so long to tackle the Beethoven repertoire, as evidenced by his recent performance at London’s Barbican Hall. The pianist, who returns March 16 to Symphony Center with an all-Beethoven recital, just released his second disc of the composer’s concertos. Meanwhile, the Telegraph reviews the disc, calling it “a landmark of artistic integrity, intelligence and musical insight.”

After his recital, Andsnes will sign CDs at the Symphony Store.
