Anne-Sophie Mutter, hailed worldwide as “the undisputed queen of violin-playing,” helps to open the 127th season of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra when she joins the ensemble and Riccardo Muti for Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5 (Turkish) at the Symphony Ball concert Sept. 22 and in Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto on Sept. 23 and 26.
