Call for World War I Monuments
In preparation for the 100th anniversary of the U.S. entry into World War I, Landmarks Illinois is conducting a statewide survey of monuments to soldiers and veterans of the Great War. If you know of a monument or marker in your community, contact Landmarks Illinois. Email Director of Grants & Easements Suzanne Germann at sgermann@landmarks.org any information and photos on the monument.
This project is made possible with generous support from the Pritzker Military Foundation.
