Governmental Memberships
MCHS has been preserving the rich history of McHenry County since 1963. We host adult workshops and lectures, design traveling exhibitions, maintain a research library, and arrange a wide variety of school and other group programs. This membership comes with many benefits for your township, including:
* Free admission for your residents for one designated week throughout the year (to be printed in the museum schedule).
* Free field trip admissions for students whose schools are located in your jurisdiction, including use of the West Harmony one-room schoolhouse and the museum. (Otherwise $3/student charge)
* Governmental use of the Research Library for local history or land-use research.
* One booking of The James, MCHS' traveling exhibition bus.
