Rick Halberg & Friends

Rick Halberg
Host of Saturday mornings, Rick Halberg & Friends.

When I first started in radio, you still needed to turn a dial to find your station – and Jimmy Carter was president!

After spending 20 years in radio, 13 of them with WJBC/WBNQ/WBWN, I went to the corporate world while my wife and I raised our triplets. They’re in college now, and I’ll be wrapping up my corporate career in the not-so-distant future. So I decided to return to my first love – broadcasting. Fortunately, some of my old friends are still here, and they were kind enough to hold the door open for me. I scored a weekend shift and fill in whenever one of the full-timers needs a little time off.

I hope you’ll join me on Saturday mornings for “Rick Halberg and Friends” from 7 – 9 AM, and here and there as I fill in for one of your favorite WJBC personalities.

You’ll recognize me – I’m the one having a blast!
