Our Museum

The Glencoe Historical Society museum campus is located at 375 Park Avenue, Glencoe, IL.  The campus consists of two buildings and a garden.  We offer exhibits on the first floor of both the 375 Park Avenue building (Museum 375) and the first floor of the 377 Park Avenue building (Museum 377) on the back of the property.

Our Research Center remains open to answer questions every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and every Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  If you can’t visit us then, you can also call (847-835-0040) or email us (info@glencoehistory.org) for an appointment.

Our beautiful garden is open for your enjoyment every day.

The Eklund Room

This exhibit is located in the 377 Park Avenue building.  It introduces visitors to Sara “Sally” Eklund and her family.  Sally was the donor of the buildings and the garden that today form the public campus of the Glencoe Historical Society.   The Eklund Room displays the tools used by Sally’s father in the furniture and upholstery business that he operated at our 375 Park Avenue address.  It also includes items from Sally’s own decorating practice. A visit to the Glencoe Historical Society is not complete without stopping in this permanent memorial to our most generous benefactor. For more information, click on the button below.
