"War Service for Loyal Alumni"
Title
"War Service for Loyal Alumni"
Description
Professor of Latin W.P. Drew implores Knox alumni to encourage young men of college age to come to Knox, as "the men of the freshman and sophomore classes ought to be more numerous than usual to make up for the shortage in the upper classes." Drew also notes the need for young women to attend college, stating, "After the war, yes, and during the war, women are going to have a tremendously increased influence in governmental, business and professional life compared with that which they have had before. They should prepare for their great tasks by college education."
